The Financial Aid Access Code (FAAC) gives you temporary access to ALEKS for two weeks.  The FAAC does NOT add an additional two weeks to your account.  Once the code expires, you will be locked out of your ALEKS class until you purchase a regular Student Access Code.  When you purchase/apply a regular Student Access Code, the start date of their account will be the date you first starting using ALEKS with the FAAC code, NOT the date when the account was extended with the purchased code.

  1.  Go to www.aleks.com.

  2.  Click on the "SIGN UP NOW!" link located under the login box.

  3.  Enter your Course Code and click on Continue.

  4.  Verify that you are registering for the correct course and click on Continue.

  5.  Enter the 20-character Financial Aid Access Code.

  6.  Continue with the registration process until your account has been set up successfully.

  7.  Begin working in ALEKS.

  8.  Extend your account access BEFORE your two weeks expire. To do this, open the Navigation Menu from the top, left corner (three lines icon). Select Manage My Classes. Select Extend access to this class and follow the steps.

If your temporary access expires before you extend your account, simply log in to ALEKS and select the Actions menu for your class. Select Renew access to this class and follow the steps.
