At McGraw Hill, we are committed to constantly improving our products to meet the ever-changing needs of the educators and students we serve. As such, we're making necessary enhancements to our cybersecurity policies to strengthen data, privacy, and security.

On June 1, 2023, we updated our password policy to better safeguard our applications
across our Higher Education, K-12, and International platforms. Any current passwords that are set will not be affected by the change. However, if a password is newly created, either by a password reset or an account creation, the password will need to meet the new password requirements.

The new password requirements will include:

  • It must be at least 9 characters in length, without space key characters.

  • It must contain at least 1 upper-case letter, 1 lower-case letter, and 1 number.

  • It cannot have five or more consecutive repeatable case-insensitive characters.

    • Example of what it cannot be: McGraaAaaw
    • Example of what it could be: McGraaAaw

  • The password cannot exactly match the username and email address.
