K-12 Connect - Essay or Short Answer Questions

All essay or short answer questions require manual grading by your instructor. When you submit an assignment with essay or short answer questions, you may see a notice stating: Your instructor has yet to score this question. You'll also see a notification at the top stating the maximum number of points you can earn once your instructor grades the question.
 

A reminder is sent to your instructor in Connect to grade any manually graded questions. After your instructor manually grades each question, your assignment score will be automatically updated.

Note:  If you have multiple attempts at the assignment or depending on the policies chosen by your instructor, you may not be able to start another attempt at the assignment until your instructor has manually graded the questions for the assignment.
