Add ports 443 (SSL) and 80 (HTTP) to your firewall or proxy. If you need to filter by hostname, whitelist *.aleks.com and mheducation.com (for videos).
If you are not able to use wildcards, then whitelist the following URLs:
https://aleks.com
https://www.aleks.com
https://www-awa.aleks.com
https://www-awu.aleks.com
https://www-awy.aleks.com
https://secure-awa.aleks.com
https://secure-awu.aleks.com
https://secure-awy.aleks.com
https://secure.aleks.com
https://api-client.aleks.com
https://support.aleks.com
Also, allow https://media.gaspar.mheducation.com/, https://api.gaspar.mheducation.com/, www.google-analytics.com and rum-static.pingdom.net.
Filtering by specific IP address is not possible, as the IP address of those services (including ALEKS) change on a regular basis based on traffic patterns.
