About Sharpen Companion

Instructors using Connect® or ALEKS® can add Sharpen Companion at an affordable price, giving students premium single-title study content with expert exam prep and trusted AI tools. Set this up before term start so students can register for Sharpen with their course materials.​

About Sharpen Advantage

Sharpen Advantage is the responsible AI study and academic success app that institutions use to scale personalized support, improve student outcomes, and lower DFW rates. As students complete study activities, educators and administrators gain access to real-time insights and can curate prebuilt and custom study content to intervene early and close knowledge gaps. Once set up, students register through their LMS.​

Sharpen Companion with Connect

  • How to Create and Deploy the Sharpen Companion Assignment in Connect

    If you're using Connect with Sharpen in your course, this video walks you through how to assign Sharpen to your students. This assignment gives students an easy way to launch the app from Connect or their LMS and get started. You’ll be able to give points to your students who open Sharpen by this access point and use it to study. To complete the assignment and earn the allotted points, students must launch Sharpen from this access point and complete at least one activity.
