Connect - Adjust Credit for a Question Bank Assignment

Adjust credit or scoring for a Connect assignment to reflect grading decisions.

In case of an issue with an assignment’s content or particular questions, you can adjust credit for students, drop questions from an assignment, or flag questions for manual grading, even after students have submitted an assignment.

1. Select a course from your Connect instructor dashboard.

2. Under the Assignments tab, select the assignment you need to adjust.



3. Under the  preview tab, locate the specific question and select  Adjust credit .
 
4. In the adjust credit modal, select how you would like to adjust the credit for the selected question. You can:
  • Award full credit
  • Drop the question and its points
  • Flag for manual grading 
This change is irreversible and applies to all students for all assignment attempts, including those in shared or copied assignments and courses.
 
4. Once you've made your selection, select adjust.

Note: Dropping a question will change the assignment’s total point value, even if you've locked the points.
