He teaches Economics at Scripps College, part of the Claremont Colleges, and earned his PhD from U.C. Berkeley, where he was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor honor.

    Sean is the author of several widely adopted texts, including Economics for Dummies (Wiley) and Essentials of Economics, now in its fourth edition. His latest book, The Cure That Works, offers a provocative look at how to deliver world-class healthcare at a fraction of the cost.
