Why does it say there are no subscriptions available to register my students? I know we have the subscriptions in our account.

Troubleshoot why no ALEKS subscriptions appear available for student registration.

Each class in ALEKS is configured to use a specific type (i.e., length) of subscription. ALEKS currently offers the following subscription lengths: One Month, Two Month, Three Month, Five Month, Seven Month, 40 Week, 46 Week, and 12 Month.

There are also certain ALEKS classes that require specific subscription types. The following ALEKS course products require subscription types that are unique to these specific courses: College Preparedness, PreCalculus for College Readiness, AP Chemistry, AP Statistics, QuickTables stand-alone, RtI Screening Assessment, and Introduction to Statistics (with ALEKS 360 Bluman Statistics).

The class will allow registration only if there are subscriptions available of the type it is configured to use (e.g., a class configured to use a 12 Month subscription will only allow registration if there are 12 Month subscriptions available).

Check with your school’s ALEKS administrator to verify the type of subscription available. Once verified, change the subscription type for your course using the steps below:

  1.     Select the class you want to enroll students in.

  2.     Select “Class Administration.”

  3.     Click the “Class Summary” link.

  4.     Under the Class Information section, click the “Edit” link.

  5.     Select the appropriate subscription length/type using the Subscription Length drop-down menu.

  6.     Click the “Save” button.
