Google Classroom - How to View and Complete Assignments

View and complete assignments from Google Classroom within the Open Learning Environment.

Please note: If you’re an SSO (Single-Sign on) user, log into your program from your district’s SSO portal, district website or learning management system (LMS) before launching assignments from Google Classroom.This article will walk a student through how to launch their assignments through Google Classroom.

1. When you navigate to your Google Classroom class, you’ll see the assignment that your teacher has shared.



2.  Click on the assignment to open it. When you do so, you’ll see the Google Classroom assignment details and a link to your assignment. Click the link to launch your assignment.

You will now be taken to the Assignment in your McGraw-Hill program.

Please note: If you are redirected to the McGraw Hill login page when trying to launch an assignment from Google Classroom, one of the options listed below will need to be followed:

Option 1: 
Open a tab in your browser window, and sign into your student account at
my.mheducation.com

Note: If you are associated with a school that uses Single Sign-on (SSO), you will need to launch your school's LMS page instead.

You will then need to launch the program the assignment is for by clicking on the class. While keeping this tab open in your browser, go to Google Classroom and launch your assignment.

4.  You can now open and complete the assigned resource per your teacher’s instructions.



5. 
After you complete your assignment, select Mark as Done in Google Classroom so your teacher can grade your assignment.
