Multiple Charges for a Single Web Order

If you purchase a digital product such as Connect or ALEKS, you may see more than one charge when making an online purchase. This extra hold is a temporary ‘Preauthorization’ and is only used to verify that enough funds are on the card before processing the order. Most major card companies will automatically drop a preauthorization within a week.

If you received multiple order receipts or otherwise have an extra charge on your account that has lasted longer than a week, please reach out to Customer Service using any of the following methods:
