Connect - Assignment Availability

Set and manage assignment availability dates in Connect.

If your students are not able to see all of your assignments, check the following:
  • Ensure the assignments are assigned (by clicking on assign in the fourth step of the assignment-creation process). If an assignment is not assigned, you will see that the assignment is highlighted in YELLOW. If this is the case, click on the assignment name, click on the assign button, and click on the next assign button that appears. Your student will now be able to see and take the assignment.
  • Check that the assignment’s start date hasn't passed.
  • Check that the assignment is not accidentally hidden. Assignments which are hidden will have a slash-line crossing through the eyeball icon under the show/hide column when looking at your assignment list on the home tab of the section. Make sure that the eyeball icon next to the assignment name does not have a slash through it.  If it does, click the eyeball and the assignment will become visible to your students.
Tip:  If you would like to see your assignments exactly the way your students see your assignments, simply click Student view in the upper right hand corner on the section home tab.
