Wonders News!

Greetings Wonders Community!

Spring has arrived and the closure to another exciting school year is right around the corner! I smile as I reflect on the amazing opportunities I’ve had this past school year in my travels to hundreds of K-6 classrooms across the country, working with inspiring educators and eager learners.

We hope that you and your students are continuing to find engaging and empowering resources and texts in your daily interactions with Wonders. We’re here to help with resources for assessments, preparing your digital classroom for the next year, and much more.

Here’s wishing you a highly productive and positive ending to this Wonder-ful school year!

Assessments

The Wonders Assessment Handbook assists instructors in administering and scoring the various assessment components. It will help you manage the use of multiple assessments, interpret the results, and then use that information for instructional planning. It will provide you with basic definitions and clear guidance on how test scores can be a useful resource for addressing your students’ needs.

Wonders Digital Transition Guide
As the summer approaches, it’s time to think about what to do to prepare your Wonders digital account for the next school year. The Wonders Digital Transition Guide shows you how to be ready when new students start.

If your district adds classes for you, the only thing you need to do is delete your class (instructions on Page 2). Your district will upload class information for the following year.

English Learners Report
In McGraw-Hill’s second annual English Learners Report, educators remain optimistic about the academic potential of English Learners as the population of this group continues to grow in schools across the United States. However, teachers say social and emotional learning challenges are the biggest obstacle to these students’ academic success.
