Live Twitter Chat: Is Your School 'Future Ready'?
The discussion between Chris, Tom, and participating teachers and administrators will offer a unique perspective and practical advice on topics including planning for digital implementation, supporting professional learning, and celebrating school-wide progress towards Future Ready goals. All educators are encouraged to follow the live conversation or join-in with tweets from their own Twitter accounts.
In late 2014, McGraw-Hill Education became an official corporate sponsor of the Future Ready Schools Leadership Network -- a free, online resource supporting all districts that take the Future Ready District Pledge. Earlier this year at SXSWedu, McGraw-Hill Education's Chief Digital Officer, Stephen Laster, held a live Twitter chat with Tom and the Future Ready team on new challenges and opportunities in educational technology.
This spring our School leadership team has been actively involved in the Future Ready Schools Regional Summits -- a series of collaborative meetings and workshops to help school leaders create structured action plans to achieve their goals in becoming prepared for the widespread use of learning technology. The Future Ready Schools Leadership Network currently offers a Future Ready assessment and report with specific pathways toward progress, as well as an interactive planning dashboard to help districts analyze and report their own team's progress -- regardless of whether they attend a Regional Summit.
