Sandra Loughrin, Associate Professor of Sociology, University of Nebraska at Kearney

Sandra Loughrin is an Associate Professor of Sociology and the Director of the Women’s, Gender, and Ethnic Studies program at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, in Kearney, Nebraska. She received her B.A. is Sociology from the University of California at Berkeley in 2003, her M.A. and Ph.D.in Sociology for the University of California at Riverside in 2008/2011. She currently serves as the Director for Women’s and Gender Studies Program and Ethnic Studies Program. Loughrin teaches core courses in Sociology, as well as courses in gender, sexuality, Women’s Studies, and Ethnic Studies. Her current research examines Gen Z and various issues in gender, sexuality, masculinity, and race/ethnicity.
