Jill Quadagno

Jill Quadagno, Ph.D., is Professor Emerita at Florida State University and Research Associate in the Pepper Institute on Aging and Public Policy. She is the author of more than 70 articles and 12 books on social welfare, aging, and health policy. The 8th edition of her text, Aging, and the Life Course, was published in February. Her current research focuses on the Medicaid program including the long-term care component and on racial and ethnic disparities in access to benefits. She is past President of the American Sociological Association, a Fellow of the Gerontological Association of America, and a member of the National Academy of Medicine.
