Jelisa S. Clark, Ph.D.

Jelisa S. Clark, Ph.D. is an assistant professor of sociology at Fayetteville State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Sociology at the University of Louisville. Her teaching and research interests are situated at the intersection of race, gender, and education. She regularly teaches courses such as Sociology of the Black Community, Diversity and Inequality, Sociology of Gender, Race, and Ethnicity, and Hip-Feminism. She is also the co-author of Empowering Men of Color on Campus: Building Student Community in Higher Education.
